Safety testing
TRaC-KTL Safety Group is fully accredited to meet the growing needs for worldwide safety testing and compliance and provides:
- Safety testing and certification of electrical and electronic equipment to international and European safety standards
- Pre-compliance evaluations that identify problem areas early in the design stage, to reduce the need for potentially expensive modifications
TRaC-KTL accreditations include:
- UKAS. The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the UK national accreditation body that is recognised by the UK government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, the organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. TRaC-KTL is accredited by UKAS to IEC/ISO 17025.
- IECEE. This accreditation allows TRaC-KTL to perform within the CB scheme and CCA scheme to provide the largest possible market access from a safety regulation point of view. The accreditation is based on IEC/ISO 17025 and covers both Safety and EMC testing services.
- Intertek BEAB. This is the leading independent body for electrical safety.
